Not at all. We welcome complete beginners and experienced martial artists alike. Our programs are structured so new students learn the fundamentals from day one, while more advanced students continue to deepen their technique and progress through the belt system.
What style of karate do you teach?
Our lineage is rooted in Shotokan karate — one of the most widely practiced and respected traditional styles in the world. We also incorporate martial arts conditioning, injury prevention, strength, mobility, and recovery training to give students a complete martial arts education.
What age groups do you offer classes for?
We offer classes for children, teens, and adults. Each age group trains in an environment designed for their developmental stage, with instruction paced and structured appropriately. Contact us or check our schedule for current class times by age group.
How does the belt ranking system work?
Students progress through a traditional Shotokan belt ranking system, from white belt through black belt. Promotions are earned through demonstrated mastery of technique, kata, and kumite at each level. Belt ceremonies are meaningful milestones that we celebrate with the whole dojo community.
